And the rains came..
My writing this is proof, that in rural Thailand, in the middle of farm country, it is possible to get a DSL connection and have a reasonably fast connection to the internet. (That is, of course, when a rain storm and lightning strikes aren’t browning out the power.)
My flight landed in Taipei at 5:00AM. I have three hours to kill before my connecting flight. Nothing is open but the Starbucks that’s hidden away on the upper level. I don’t drink Starbucks in Seattle, so I’m definitely not going to drink it here. But they do have orange juice and Evian.
I think I’ll go hang out in the Hello Kitty waiting room (yes, I’m serious, there is one) and wait for my flight. I must be punchy.
